Chambered in 5.56 NATO, this Ballistic Advantage 10.5” barrel is an excellent option for building a short barrel rifle or even a pistol. This modern series barrel features all the qualities you would want for a short carbine style build. It features a carbine length gas system for optimal reliability with a 1:7 twist rate.
The barrel is made from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium and has a salt bath Nitride finished inside and out for long-term durability. The government profile is thin behind the gas block shelf to reduce weight but then gets larger to accommodate .750” gas blocks. Threaded 1/2×28, you can easily attach your favorite .223/5.56 muzzle device, whether it is a flash hider or muzzle brake.
